The only correct answer is no one knows, of course, but that's no fun. I started saying Fall '21 in about April '20, not knowing anything but surprisingly I am not sure I am any smarter now.
The definition is important because some silly rich person(s) will do something as soon as it is legal to do so. But if you mean something that looks like a recovering industry, then I can't imagine much before my original guess. Let me ask this: Do you think that tourist (domestic and foreign) hordes will have returned by next summer? Because that is the sine qua non of Broadway even roughly looking like it did in 2019. (And my guess is that it won't, ever, which may not be a bad thing.) |
