You forgot to mention that the post was almost entirely fake news. Get ready for a lot more of this for the next 2 months; this is the false narrative of one of our presidential candidates.
PS: I walked 5th Avenue last week with a friend, Central Park to Washington Square. "Boarded up" is not what I saw. The only address I came upon that seemed besieged was 725 5th Avenue. But of course I very much doubt that Teacher64 has been in NY in 6 months or more, and premumably would be treated as a pariah if they did show up.
The key word in your post is "resilient." That is the quintessential characteristic of New York. The only quibble I have is that it is the theatre, not just Broadway, that is woven in our DNA. |
