It's an entire scene, but one that lacks context in this presentation. I think this iteration does give an accurate sense of the play's dynamics and humor, but doesn't provide any sense of the story. I enjoyed this re-visit to their performances, but I was also baffled by the choice to present the scene in this way, as I don't think it provides a strong reason to want to see the show.
But it was a great production of a sturdy piece of writing, and the audience didn't need to masturbate in order to enjoy it (except for that one lady, who sat a few seats ahead of me). |
