| Back in 1974 I drove into the city from New Jersey because I wanted to become active in the theatre scene, as an actor. Just by chance I parked in front of the 13th St. Repertory and thought, " I may as well start here". I met Edith and she promptly set me to work as the weekend box office person. I did that for 3 weekends before I told her I was an actor and did not want to continue in the box office. She had me audition for an upcoming production but I was not cast. Shortly thereafter I became a member of the newly formed SoHo Repertory Company. |
