Having seen this in Los Angeles in 2018, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is well worth the $50 admission if it is anywhere near as successful as a streaming event as it was in person. The adaptation includes the narrative text and it was a delight to hear Dickens' prose as well as his familiar dialogue. Jefferson Mays was outstanding as was the direction by Michael Arden.
