Holding off for now, but Mays and Arden would be very good selling points for me for an in-person show (and I just saw last season's terrific Broadway production, which I know is not exactly like this one).

It's hard to think any streaming show would be worth $50 (+ $5 Ticket and Streaming Fee + $2.50 Credit Card Fee) for me personally. It just doesn't work as well for my attention span as in-person theatre. I would like to hear more about the filming - does anyone know when it was done, how many cameras, etc.?

That the money (or most of it, some of it?) will go toward regional theater companies is a great selling point. None of the companies mentioned thus far are in my area. Hope more information is provided, though I see they're still looking for "co-presenters."

From this, I wonder if it's better to wait and buy a ticket from a local theatre company, should one appear, if I want funds to be used in my area:

"The beneficiaries of this event - partner community, amateur, and regional theaters that have been hard-hit by the COVID-19 crisis - will be provided materials that will allow them to market A Christmas Carol directly to their subscribers and single ticket buyers. Proceeds from ticket sales will be distributed accordingly, providing crucial funding during theater's darkest hour."

Again, so many questions ...
