| He started as a chorus boy in the London production of "South Pacific". He was seen in the film "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" and noted by and singled out by the producer's wife for his being perfect for the role of James Bond, which turned him into an international superstar. He was also a wonderful actor, winning an Oscar for "The Untouchables" and appearing in many other notable films like "Murder on the Orient Express", "The Man Who Would Be King", "Marnie", "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", among others. Rest in peace. | |
