Thanks. I'd never even heard of this 1949 Rattigan play. I wonder if it ever played in the U.S. Looking it up, I learned it was the great Paul Scofield's first starring role on the West End. And the Connery TV movie was done the same year(1961)as the Macbeth being mentioned, both of course the year before "Dr. No."
