| I saw it as a kid and loved it (the movie) and thought Nancy Kelly was excellent. NOW, I see her as extremely mannered which becomes distracting after a while. Eileen Heckart, as always, is superb....as she also was in "Picnic" and "Dark at the Top of the Stairs" on stage. I saw her in the latter and in two other plays. There's such a thing (or was) as TVQ -- to me, she was BroadwayQ. |
