| I was given tickets some years ago, and Mike (then billed as Michael) Minor from "Petticoat Junction" was in it, and he did a good job. But it's not a good play. Among the show's many problems is that it seems unfinished, with many loose threads and if I recall, it just seemed to have a decent amount of exposition, then some stuff happens, then it turned into, "what's going on here?" That's my impression many years later, and the woman who promotes the show was in it, as she had been for many years. She couldn't try to have had the show re-written, worked on, or clarified during all these years? I actually feel it's almost my duty when on TKTS line, when their hired and sometimes aggressive promoters have moved down the line away from me, to warn folks around me to see something else, especially if this is the only show in NY they might ever see. Being hoodwinked into seeing this instead of a good show would be the only perfect crime, unfortunately. |
