I do indeed blame Paramount.
I also think Lucky Lady was a fun movie and I ADORE New York, New York. (Both films did make some money, by the way.)
I'll concede that A Matter of Time was a mistake, but she wanted to make a film with her father and time was running out. That movie does have some moments of magic (mostly because of Ingrid Bergman, but Liza does get to sing "Do It Again" which is pretty cool).
And it is "Shelley" Winters. |
