| Agree with both you and Tandelor. I've always loved the score but hadn't seen it in many years then twice in about a year, first a reimagined version that Tandelor probably saw which was revelatory and really showed how amazingly strong the book it, then a production that was closer to Lore Noto's original conception and both worked. One of the greatest musicals ever written, which may be why it played for so long, its just so damn good. |
