| If you asked people who wrote WICKED, there's probably an even chance that their answer, if they had any idea at all, would be Gregory Maguire. Maguire is a pretty popular author with his OZ series probably his most popular novels. Granted the musical, doesn't have much in common with the book it's nominally based on, but I'm sure Maguire is stifling his complaints at his beach house or his penthouse in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower while cashing the checks that roll in for which he did no additional work whatsoever. |
