| I completely disagree with Ashford in Kinky Boots. I had never seen her prior to that. Her one song was a knockout and would have stopped the show if they hadn’t thrown in a character who appears right before the climax of the song. I don’t know why they took those final moments away from her but she managed to get a Tony nomination on the basis of that one number. |
