Wildcat has a very enjoyable score and McEntire would be great as Wildy, ideally in an Encores production. The book is very sitcom-y (in a bad way), but maybe Encores could work a little magic on it like they did with Paint Your Wagon.
As has been mentioned may times here, McEntire would be fine in an Encores production of the original version of The Unsinkable Molly Brown, another score with an enjoyable, entertaining score that's good (but not great). |
