I could actually see Reba playing Elaine Stritch's role in this flop show with a great score, one that really has a misleading title (it sounds like a kid's show) as it's really about Old Hollywood and silent films. It actually has a funny libretto. She'd be marvelous in such songs as "I Never Know When to Say When", "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed?" and "Give the Little Lady A Great Big Hand". The Leroy Anderson/Walter and Jean Kerr score deserves a full orchestra, so it might be something for Encores to do at some point. She'd be fine playing opposite a comedic/character leading man like Nathan Lane as the harried movie director, who doesn't exactly have romantic love songs to sing.
