But it's also not about a total amount, it's about what you need *monthly* to live.
what about the people who can't afford to delay? Who have to take it and use it right when it's available. Why is it fair for them to get less than if they'd waited? It's punishing the poor.
but what about the scenarios where you don't live those 16 years, but had planned to? Whether you collect on time or delayed? This shouldn't be a question people have to ask themselves and debate and strategize over. We should all get the full amount when we turn 66. |
