The difference in social security payments is VAST. I didn't even know $3400 was possible.
My dad who works his whole life, and quite lucratively for a few decades before he lost his business, was getting about 2k... (he collected early because he had to but it would apparently have been only $400 more a month if he'd waited to 65), and my mom who worked part time was getting $1400. |
