Two of the best nights I’ve ever spent in the theatre were the recent one-man (well, 98% one man) productions of Jefferson Mays’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Geffen and Bill Irwin’s ON BECKETT at the Kirk Douglas.
The Mays CAROL has already announced it will stream starting November 28. Now the Irish Repertory Theatre is bringing Irwin’s show to the virtual world. The Mays is $50; the Irwin is free, but they encourage a $25 donation.
These were so damn good, I am thrilled for a chance to revisit them. |
