The NYT actually published a correction which stated: "An earlier version of this article, using information from the spokesman, misstated the type of work being undertaken at the Winter Garden Theater. It was routine maintenance in advance of the opening of "The Music Man," not the removal of props from "Beetlejuice."
The change of photo is less justifiable now that there is further clarity that it had nothing to do with 'Beetlejuice'.
