We don't have to look very far to prove your Covid thesis. I think, beyond that, Covid is accelerating changes that were in motion already. (As a friend said to me recently, it's generational.) Covid also adds a financial element for cast, crew, and everyone else. People are grateful that the streaming producers are exploding right now. We are going to have movies in theaters that survive, but we are not going to see the genie put back in the bottle once everyone is post-Covid. The trend, started well before anyone had heard of Wujan, will continue without interruption, just as the move to a smaller commercial real estate footprint was headed in the direction that Covid brought to the front burner. It ain't coming back in our lifetimes. If you think Jordan Roth has challenges right now, I'd much rather be him than his father right now.
