| My only question after reading about this expansion of the founding mission is whether or not Encores' putting on LION KING--or WICKED or PHANTOM--WHILE the show is still running on Broadway falls under the "third tenet" or requires a fourth one. | |

| I would not be at all surprised if Billy Porter plays the Witch in "Into the Woods." I recall that he actively sought out the role in the Broadway revival. I'm also wondering if the role of Queen in Porter's adaptation of "The Life" might become transgender. |

| Gone are the days of "Out Of This World", "The Boys From Syracuse", and the rest. I guess we won't be seeing "Destry Rides Again" any time soon. I'm seriously considering giving up the subscription I've had from the very beginning. | |
