Not justifying the choice of ITW, I think they do view it as having commercial prospects. Also, and this will seem morbid, I bet there is an anticipated prestige to putting on the "last production Stephen Sondheim contributed to," which in reality will be happening to a production sooner rather than later.
I think ITW is great, but I do have show fatigue. I'd love to see so many other shows first |
