Christopher Ashley seems to like Chad Kimball. He cast him as the DJ who played “Black music” in Memphis and again as half of a gay couple in Come From Away. Both productions went from La Jolla to Broadway, and to the best of my recollection, Mr. Kimball gave solid and committed performances in each. Of course, we don’t know how anyone may go off the rails, but Mr. Kimball in my memory of his acting, seemed committed to values that I personally hold.
