I saw THE IRISHMAN at its Belasco Theatre gig.
Sold out, VERY DIVERSE audience and the film was already streaming.
You could have heard a pin drop in the quieter scenes, and there was a great deal of boisterous laughter in the appropriate moments.
I am so glad I went. tt will be one of my most memorable moviegoing experiences, by far.
One day I will see THE IRISHMAN on a television screen. I am sure it will be just as mesmerizing.
I would see it again in a movie theatre without hesitation. I'd just not drink anything until the movie is over. I admit that was a concern initially, but once the movie began, a bathroom break was the last thing on my mind. |
