The McDonalds on 42nd Street closed when they opened their new "flagship" location on Broadway at 45th Street. While you can still see the lobbies, Madame Tussaud's, Ripley's and the Hilton are also closed on 42nd Street. In fact, I don't know if anything is actually open on the south side of the street between 7th & 8th Aves.
