Going further down the rabbit hole, the song “Sheila Franklin” rolls right into “I Believe in Love” if I remember correctly. On the more recent releases of the OBC, Melba Moore sings “I Believe in Love,” and I could have sworn it was Sheila’s song. Is this because a) Dionne (played by MM) originally sang the song or b) because the song was recorded later when Moore took over the role of Sheila? The latter is what happened with the OLC album and the subsequent addendum of Fresh Hair later in 1970.
