Great idea! My mom and I used to always have a glass of wine while getting the turkey and fixings ready for Thanksgiving dinner. I usually did the carving. Pinot noir was generally my choice of libation.
My mom always made both a turkey and a roast pork for Thanksgiving. On Christmas it was turkey plus a roast beef. Regarding music pre-dinner, I usually opted for the soundtrack to The Miracle on 34th Street at Thanksgiving; however, Grand Hotel is also a great selection. |
