| I guess I don’t know what I expect the show to be. I bought the concert for next month so I’ll see some more of it. After the Macy number I went to wiki and read the very long plot summary—certainly not the one liner like 42nd street—chorus girl replaces Star and saves the show. | |

| They were performing the big finale with only a few members of the ensemble, so you are seeing maybe half the cast during the "big finish". I'm not sure they picked the best number for the people they had. | |

| No energy. It may have also been the wrong number to present. But it really feels like they're not putting anything at all into it. (Maybe they were trying to be too "natural for the camera?") | |

| The version of this song they did on GMA (I think) was much more successful. | |

| It was selling out during previews when I saw it and I thought it was very good. Diablo Cody's script was edgy but intelligent and the songs worked, esp. You Oughta Know, which got a mid-show Standing O (only other time I saw that was after ALADDIN's Friend Like Me). The audience loved the show and I think it would've been a hit had it opened. |

| I saw it late in previews and thought it was a mess with some exciting singing. It was totally overstaged, which to me indicates a lack of trust in the material. |

| After it opened and during traditionally slow months. So it was in its way to being a hit. I had tickets in May. | |
