Just to clarify, the song "The French Lesson" is not in the original stage production of Good News (though it probably is now, in revivals.) It was written by Betty Comden, Adolph Green, and Roger Edens and added to the MGM film version of the show in 1947, where it was sung by June Allyson and Peter Lawford. |
