Like you said, as a reference, most of the broadway and off-broadway are on line. I pull the adds and articles out of mine so that reduced the size of many to fit into four Tupperware-type boxes (12x18x7H). Others have kept their local productions (since those aren't on line) and toss the on-line version. To be honest, i like the cover art and especially when a show has different productions. But you are right, they will be tossed when you die. And there is little market for them--even my moms from the 40s aren't worth much since they are not signed and a sizeable amount are replacement casts. For me, it wouldn't be worth my time to find someone to buy them or even give them to.
