When my theatre trip to NYC was cancelled last May, I took some of the refunded money and made specific theatre-related donations. After I contributed to some NYC-based initiatives, I paid for a membership to the National since I have also enjoyed shows in London. Today I received an offer to try this new service free for a month. Now the question is, if I don’t find myself watching much, will I remember to cancel? Or maybe I let it ride as further contributions....

When I do a trial, I mark my calendar for a couple days before the trial ends to remind me.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they offer. Lots of Shakespeare so far, not surprisingly.

I already signed up for a subscription! Looking forward to watching these productions. Why isn't this being done for Broadway? I'd think that at least Roundabout, MTC or LCT would be able to do the same with their filmed productions.

For once, I am truly glad my spouse is a procrastinator whose holiday gifts either suddenly show by overnight delivery or arrive around New Year’s. I said, “.Have you bought me anything yet? No? Good. This is what I want.”
