To Stream on Broadway on Demand in December

Art Lab (Meg Fofonoff, Producer) and ShowTown Productions (Nathan Gehan and Jamison Scott, Executive Producer) is proud to present two virtual presentations of Disenchanted! Stay-At-Home Version, the Off-Broadway musical comedy with book, music, and lyrics by Dennis T. Giacino and developed with Fiely Matias, will be streamed via Broadway on Demand on Tuesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 17.

This virtual presentation of Disenchanted! Stay-At-Home Version is directed by Meg Fofonoff, and will feature an all-female cast including Diana DeGarmo , Micaela Diamond, Tony Award nominee Celia Rose Gooding, Liisi LaFontaine, Jaygee Macapugay, Ashley Pérez Flanagan, Gabriella Pizzolo, and Alysha Umphress.

Meg Fofonoff said "Disenchanted reminds us that above all else, we need to always persevere to find our own individuality, celebrate diversity and support the power of women in our world. Our production showcases our dialogue of female empowerment issues. One is encouraged to laugh at the challenges, while being very determined to effect change. Our show emphasizes that being a "Princess" is defined by one's own persona."

Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and their merry band of royal renegades 'Zoom' in from magical kingdoms around the globe to bring their hilarious princess vaudeville to your living room! Forget the princesses you think you know - the original storybook heroines have come to life to set the record straight.

Disenchanted! Stay-At-Home Version will feature choreography & associate direction by Luis Salgado, music direction by Sean Mayes, film editing by Nicole Artzer, film editing consultation by Mindy Elliott, associate direction of photography by Howie Michael Smith, costume design by Jennifer Tremblay, music/audio producing & mixing by Mark Governor, and casting by Alexandre Bleau. Julie DeVore serves as the production stage manager.

Biographies:

DIANA DeGARMO (Pocahontas ). Singer, songwriter, from stage to screen, Diana DeGarmo has conquered it all and then some. Her powerhouse vocals shot her to fame on American Idol and opened doors to her numerous Broadway shows, National & International Tours, a recurring role on The Young & The Restless, and much more. MICAELA DIAMOND (Cinderella) made her Broadway debut as 'Babe' - the youngest Cher - in The Cher Show, a role she auditioned for just weeks after graduating high school. She made her television debut in NBC's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert," appearing in the ensemble and understudying Sara Bareilles. Diamond is a graduate of LaGuardia Arts High School in New York. You can follow her at @micaela_diamond.

CELIA ROSE GOODING (Princess Who Kissed The Frog) is currently starring on Broadway in Jagged Little Pill based on the groundbreaking album by Alanis Morissette. She created the role of "Frankie" in the World premiere of the show at the American Repertory Theatre directed by Diane Paulus. Other past roles include Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown and Carmen Diaz in Fame at The Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy in New York City. Celia has studied Acting and Film at the Berridge Conservatory in Normandy, France with a concentration in Shakespeare, Music Theatre at Pace University, and dance at The Alvin Ailey Institute. She is a graduate of Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York with hours in performing arts. This year Celia has been nominated for a 2020 Tony Award as well as a Clive Barnes Award for her performance in Jagged Little Pill. She is also the winner of the 2020 Harlem Stage Emerging Artist Award.

LIISI LaFONTAINE (Snow White) Liisi LaFontaine was born and raised in Los Angeles where she attended an arts high school studying voice before she went to Berklee College of Music in Boston to major in vocal performance. She actually worked as Princess Tiana in a musical at Disneyland before starring as Deena Jones in the original cast of Dreamgirls on the West End in London. She then played the iconic Whitney Houston in Broadway bound musical Born For This, before moving to New York full time in 2018. After a year and half of multiple reading and workshops and concerts with the likes of Billy Porter, Charles Randolph-Wright, Moises Kaufman, Casey Nicholaw, Marc Shaiman and Scott Whittman, she returned to her home state to do a new musical called Fly at La Jolla Playhouse, directed by Jeffrey Seller. Since the pandemic, she has been living in LA, working on multiple TC and film projects and writing her second studio EP.

JAYGEE MACAPUGAY (Hua Mulan) is an actor based in New York City. Jaygee has performed on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock (OBC & cast recording) and Off-Broadway at the Public Theater, notably David Byrne's Here Lies Love, Hansol Jung's Wild Goose Dreams, and most recently David Henry Hwang & Jeanine Tesori's Soft Power, which was nominated for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Upcoming: the film False Positive , starring Ilana Glazer. Jaygee has a passion for new works, particularly stories that amplify Asian American voices. ASHLEY PÉREZ FLANAGAN (Sleeping Beauty). Broadway: Freestyle Love Supreme; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (u/s Sonya, Princess Mary). Regional: Moby-Dick, A.R.T., The Great Comet of 1812, A.R.T., Prometheus Bound, A.R.T., Evita, West Side Story, The Sound of Music. Ashley is a Lucille Lortel nominated actor and a member of the band Moondrunk.

GABRIELLA PIZZOLO (Announcer) made waves appearing as Suzie on season 3 of Netflix's "Stranger Things." On Broadway she appeared in Matilda (Matilda) and Fun Home (Small Alison). Other theater credits include the Encores production of Sunday in the Park with George, the Make-A-Wish Foundation benefit production of The Secret Garden (Mary Lenox) and the new musicals Because of Winn Dixie (Opal) at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Loch Ness (Haley) at Adirondack Theatre Festival. TV credits include "Beaches" (Lifetime) and "Braindead" (CBS). She can also be heard as Cricket on the Nick Jr animated series "Butterbean's Cafe."

ALYSHA UMPHRESS (Little Mermaid / Belle). Broadway; On the Town (Hildy), American Idiot, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Priscilla Queen Of the Desert, and Bring it On!. Nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for her performance in the NYC revival of Smokey Joe's Café, Chita Rivera award winner best ensemble. Recent credits include Scotland, PA at Roundabout Theatre Company and performing the role of Ruth Sherwood in Wonderful Town with the London Symphony Orchestra, which was recorded on the LSO label and available on iTunes. Alysha originated the role of Cee Cee Bloom in the world premiere of Beaches the musical at the Signature Theatre earning her a Helen Hayes nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Television credits include "Law and Order SVU", "Nurse Jackie", "Royal Pains" and "The Climb". Alysha can now be seen as Murphy in Netflix's "Bonding" @alyshaumphress

DENNIS T. GIACINO (Book / Music / Lyrics) is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America. Giacino created and wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the Off-Broadway musical hit Disenchanted! The show has played worldwide on five continents, garnered a 'Best Of'/'Unforgettable Theatre Experiences' pick from Playbill, and is a 4-time nominee for New York City theatre awards (including Outer Critics Circle nom for 'Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical, Off Broadway Alliance for 'Best New Musical,' and two Lortel Awards nominations). DIS!, as the show is affectionately known, has been recognized worldwide with awards for 'Best Musical' at the MINDIE Awards in Italy, nominations for 'Best Musical' at both the Premios Soberano Awards in the Dominican Republic and Premios ACE Awards in Argentina as well as the 'Winner' of the NJ Playwright's Competition in the USA. Giacino continues to work on new musicals with frequent collaborator (and Off-Broadway director of Disenchanted!) Fiely Matias. In addition, Giacino co-produced the Disenchanted! 10th Anniversary Studio Recording.

MEG FOFONOFF (Director / Executive Producer) is the founder of Art Lab, a producer of commercial theater as well as art/theater/science events. Art Lab has produced several art/science theatrical events with the renowned Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, MA, and has been a producer on the Tony Award-winning The Cher Show and Head Over Heels. Currently Fofonoff is a producer on Come From Away (London), It Happened in Key West (London), and the Broadway-bound Marie (directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, with music and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty). Art Lab and Fofonoff (lead producer) are currently developing the new musical shAme, based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter." Art Lab is a member of the Broadway League, The Drama League, and NAMT. Ms. Fofonoff also founded and served as executive producer of Fiddlehead Theatre Company (FTC) from 1993-2016. FTC, a professional, award-winning entity, produced plays and musicals in Boston and beyond. FTC was also dedicated to serving Boston's surrounding communities by educating children of all abilities and backgrounds in the theater arts. Ms. Fofonoff helmed Fiddlehead's journey from its own 1927 vaudeville house to Boston's Strand Theatre and then finally to Boston's Shubert Theatre, where its production of Show Boat won the IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards for Best Musical. Ms. Fofonoff is a member of The League of Professional Theatre Women, and sits on the boards of The Drama League, the Marine Biological Laboratories, College Light Opera Company and The American Theatre Wing. She is proud to have been the producer on "The Show Must Go On…Show," a YouTube series free to all and the current YouTube series "Art Lab Presents," also free to all.

SHOWTOWN PRODUCTIONS (Executive Producer). Nathan Gehan and Jamison Scott have partnered to create ShowTown Productions and are lead producers for the Broadway production of A Christmas Carol. They are currently Executive Producers on shAme and Disenchanted in association with Art Lab. Nathan is the CEO of the general management firm ShowTown Theatricals and brings 20 years' experience working for Broadway's leading general management firms. Nathan is the former President of Fifth Estate Entertainment and his Broadway general management credits include: In Residence On Broadway, The Boys in the Band, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Audience, Living on Love, The Gin Game, Something Rotten!, Cirque du Soleil Paramour, and Motown the Musical-to name a few. Jamison comes from a performance background. His Broadway acting credits include Motown, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Memphis and Grease! He has toured with and appeared in regional productions of Motown, Grease!, Hairspray, We Will Rock You, Saturday Night Fever and Dave. As a producer, he has worked in association with In Fine Company on A Taste of Things to Come, The Cher Show, Jagged Little Pill and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
