you can hate on anyone you want but the fact is that New York is a safer place than anywhere else in America (except Maine, Vermont, and Hawaii, IIRC) and has Cuomo's leadership to thank for that. I'm surprised about Westchester and expect that will change shortly. Why? Because that's what the data tells me. As long as lives are saved, and other people don't need to have tubes shoved down their throats to keep them alive, as much as I may love theatre (and like movie theaters sometimes), I'll take Cuomo over what you are peddling every day. To hate Cuomo is to hate data.
There were 53/100k new cases a day in Westchester this past week. Twice as many as in the city even with Staten Island, Breezy Point, the Orthodox areas, included. |
