| Berlinger had a long career in theatre (including Broadway), film, and TV. He officially retired a few years ago, although I had no idea he was still active after his popularity waned in the late 80's. | |

| I actually saw him in "Blue Denim" on Broadway. He had a marvelous, likeable energy that connected immediately with the audience. His was a major supporting role, though, as it was Burt Brinkerhoff who starred opposite Lynley. | |

| I did think that was odd in the obit linked by kieran. Especially since the Blue Denim film version is available, with Brandon de Wilde in the role played on Broadway by Brinckerhoff, and Berlinger in his Broadway role as the leading male character's best friend. Of course, this kind of thing is not unusual obits. | |

| I saw him in the short-lived A BROADWAY MUSICAL, which opened and closed on its Opening Night. The score was by Charles Strouse & Lee Adams and I can still remember Berlinger singing "I Hurry Home to You". He was also Milton Berle's nephew. |

| I saw him in HOW TO SUCCEED in stock (the long-defunct Houston Music Theatre) playing Finch opposite the original B'way Bigley, RUDY VALLEE. I fell in love with the show then and there. | |
