The Broadway stars did a beautiful virtual arrangement of the Ray Charles classic (but the ''windows'' featuring them were too small). Among the other performers on the bill was John Legend, who sang a song (''Never Break'') that he wrote for a new film: ''Giving Voice.'' It's about high school students entering the annual August Wilson Monologue Competition for a chance to perform on Broadway. Produced by Viola Davis and Legend, this award-winning movie won raves at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, and will debut Dec. 11 on Netflix.
