| Reminds me that 50 or so years ago, “High Spirits” (the musical based on Blythe Spirit) was playing on Broadway. There was an Actor’s Fund benefit performance. Richard Burton was playing “Hamlet” on Broadway. He and Elizabeth Taylor attended. It was a thrilling night. Coincidentally, I got a letter today asking me to make a donation to The Actor’s Fund today. I shall do so, partly because I am still grateful for that evening. |
