She was in some wonderful films in the 1960s, "Summer and Smoke" and Billy Wilder's hilarious "One, Two, Three" starring James Cagney and Arlene Francis, a 1962 remake of "State Fair", "Come Fly with Me", among others. Plus I read she was in a revival in 1966 of "Dinner At Eight" on Broadway winning a Theater World Award (playing Jean Harlow's role from the famous film). She's also the female lead in "Viva Max" which I saw a few years ago in a new musical staged reading, which was fun, written by former ATC-er BklynBoy and another ATCer Julie (who runs the Mac Awards) sharing lyric honors and Skip Kennon the music, and Jim Lehrer (of MacNeil/Lehrer Report) who wrote the film in attendance. Ms. Tiffin moved to Italy and made films there in the 1970s before apparently mostly retiring from acting. She was a lovely presence on screen and very funny in comedy. Rest in peace.
