Barbara Eden displayed a beautiful singing voice in clips of the tv version of "Kismet" which can be found on-line at times. "South Pacific" is a much easier sing than Lalume. I've a friend who was in the company of that tour who said that Ms. Eden was a lovely person and excellent as Nellie.
