Allen hosted "I've Got a Secret" and appeared a couple of times on Broadway. He was also the composer-lyricist of the ill-fated "Sophie." Carson emceed "Who Do You Trust?" before taking over "The Tonight Show" from Jack Paar. Carson replaced Tom Ewell on Broadway in "The Tunnel of Love." Groucho appeared on B'way in "The Cocoanuts" and "Animal Crackers" on B'way long before hosting "You Bet Your Life."
