''This Could Be the Start of Something [Big].'' ... As for ''Sophie,'' his 1963 musical about Sophie Tucker, it closed after 8 performances.
However, Allen was a guest on ''The Judy Garland Show,'' where she sang a few of his tunes. ''When I'm in Love'' is a bright, swingy gem.
