| CORRECTION: Carolyn Mignini was not Jerry Zaks' girlfriend. He remains married to Jill Cook, she to Stephen Vinovich. But the two bonded as good friends, doing several shows together, including TINTYPES. Carolyn, who's also a friend of mine, used to sing "If I Were a Bell" at auditions and was thrilling. The problem was that she wasn't a good match for Peter Gallagher. Had she played opposite a more age appropriate Sky, say Martin Vidnovic or Ron Raines, she would have been magnificent. - Michael Colby |
