| The first time I tried to watch it, which was on television (I think on channel 13), I could not get interested. I didn't try all that hard because I think I gave up after 10 minutes or so. Years later, I watched it again, and again it was on television (TCM) rather than in a theatre. This time I found it fascinating and quite powerful, but the first 10-15 minutes requires a lot of concentration and patience. I imagine that I'd find the beginning easier if I understood French. |
