The review in the Los Angeles Times by the critic named Dan Sullivan was not very favorable. But only a few previews were played, and I would imagine the production got better. I've never been in the Ahmanson, but it sure seems too big for the play. Of course, so many road theatres are way too big for many of the shows that have played in them. Even in New York, this has sometimes happened, but obviously much more outside New York.

Yes, the cast sounds pretty amazing. The Ahmanson obviously could attract top people. But we know all too well that casting terrific actors does not always result in a good production.
