I think there may have been a discussion of this here recently, but the actual TV telecast -- and the performances of the songs in it -- is vastly superior to that album, which features awful arrangements/orchestrations and also has Martin and Raitt singing in a very non-theatrical style. So be prepared for a very different musical experience with one compared to the other.
