I've never ever ever heard a word, good or bad, about "Carnage" or "Venus in Fur".
Shocking that a major filmmaker made films of two of the most talked-about and acclaimed and dynamic plays on Broadway in the last couple decades and made films that didn't make anything resembling a splash let alone a respectful acknowledgement.
They may be excellent adaptations and/or excellent films, I haven't seen them. I don't think I know anyone who has.
