The powers that be at City Center haven’t really done a great job of explaining what this video series is... the paragraph on the website does the best job so far I guess. But is the idea for these creatives to tell us “how they would have done the show this year if they’d had the opportunity?”, or is it about the future (which in the case of “The Life” will likely mean a production almost a year and a half from now, and in the case of “Love Life” - if it happens - 2 and a half years after it was supposed to). Are they sort of ‘auditions’ to determine audience interest based on ‘likes’ or number of ‘views’?

Or - since all the productions on the page currently say “Coming Soon” - have they actually committed to all of these shows (The Life, The Tap Dance Kid, Love Life, Millie, Into the Woods, etc.)? That’s what it currently seems to me. But if that’s indeed the case, and with Encores likely not happening this year, they would seem to have their next TWO seasons all set, and therefore won’t even need to be choosing any or announcing any further productions beyond these until (at the earliest) their season in 2024.
