Thank you. Attitudes like a couple of the posters drive me up a wall and are a particular pet peeve of mine. People expect one grand swoop gesture that solves all their problems and/or expect actions that wouldn't work or actually solve anything. You may find this a tangent but this attitude is exactly why we are where we are right now. Go back to Obamacare. It didn't immediately solve the entire health care crisis but because short sighted people decided that rather understanding that it was a first step they basically turned against it, threw democrats out of office, allowed the rise of Republican obstruction preventing any meaningful next steps for the next decade leading to Trump. There is a direct line between all of those things.
No one is going to "flipping a switch" with us back to normal immediately. There are going to be many things that will need to be done starting with raising awareness and public engagement. This is going to be a long multi-step process and really annoying to see that anyone could object to this announcement.
