Michael Riedel on Broadway re-opening
Posted by: HelenHaze 11:06 am EST 01/13/21

Riedel was interviewed by Foster Hirsch last night for a Lambs Club event and said he thinks when Broadway re-opens it should be a HUGE event with a parade down Broadway led by Hugh Jackman and all the casts from all the shows doing "76 Trombones" ending in a Times Square performance that should be nationally televised. A real event. He also said he didn't think Broadway could come back with the same prices. He says people just don't have the money any more and the prices will come down for a while until everything is back to normal. I have to agree with him on both points.

BTW, he was plugging his new book which is terrific.
