Where do you get that statistic. I’ve never seen anything close to that. Maybe phantom will 50% if it’s initial 1989 investment, but most shows are $2-3m reboot when the initial investment for many musicals is in the $10-20m range now—no where close to 50% or more. If it is 50%, I think we would have seen most shows post closing notices by now leaving Hamilton, wicked and lion king as only shows reopening. |
